in 2005, Private Sherman has found himself assigned to a sensitive position at the IDF command bunker known as “The Pit”. However, Sherman has reported nothing to his superiors about his mental condition – that he could not remember the four months prior to his arrival at the pit, or that he began to hear voices no else could.

He has found that the pit was home to many types of soldiers; From clueless tech support, drained old-timers, scheming secretaries to escape-seeking captains, Sherman was proven he may not be the only madman in The Pit.

But can he conceal his secret for long? And could Sherman’s hallucinations prove to be real?

The series has been self-published in Hebrew by Foggy since 2012 and has sold over 2000 issues in Israel. Then Foggy had moved to Berlin, Germany and relaunched all titles in the spring of 2018. Since then Sherman’s Pit’s first issue has sold over 300 issues of across Europe – mostly at conventions such as Comic Con Germany, Comic Con Prague, Comic Con Amsterdam, Comic-Salon Erlangen, Comicinvasion Berlin and more. 

In 2021, Foggy has raised over 550€ on Kickstarter for the launch of Sherman’s Pit #1-4 digital collection.
